Leverage during the challenge stage is 1:100, and during the funded stage, it is 1:50.
Upon successful completion of the challenge, traders will receive a funded account and their trades will be copied. Profit split is 95/5, with 95% going to the trader and 5% to Prop 50.
Prop 50 uses TradeLocker to analyze markets and place trades.
Traders on Prop 50 accounts operate within a demo environment using demo funds. However, trades executed by exceptionally skilled traders may be mirrored in our margin account. It’s essential to note that trades placed by prop traders occur in a demo environment.
At Prop 50, we believe that skill, not financial resources, should be the primary barrier to obtaining a funded account. Recognizing that exceptional traders may lack the means to capitalize on their expertise, we’ve structured our challenges to be as affordable as possible, granting access to funded trading accounts for anyone with the requisite skills.
Upon reaching the funded stage, traders have the opportunity to earn a profit share from their demo funds, with profitable trades potentially being copied to our margin account. Any discrepancies between the demo trading environment and the copied trade environment will be addressed, necessitating adjustments to trading strategies or bots to ensure successful replication.
Yes, news trading is permitted on all accounts. Is grid trading allowed?
Grid trading is permissible, provided that the strategy aligns with our copy trading environment. We recommend contacting support for testing if unsure whether your system is compatible.
Some forms of HFTs may be permitted, provided they can be successfully replicated in our margin environment. However, it’s crucial to note that most HFT strategies rely on exploiting characteristics unique to demo environments, rendering them ineffective in real trading scenarios. Should an HFT strategy prove compatible with our margin environment, it may be allowed. However, it’s essential to exercise caution, as refunds will not be provided if an HFT fails to perform as expected.
We strongly encourage traders to carefully consider the suitability of their strategies within our trading environment, bearing in mind the inherent limitations posed by transitioning from demo to live trading conditions.
